FCC has again been invited to participate in the Seafair Chinatown Parade. This year will be our 8th or 9th year participating! Please spread the word and encourage FCC families come be part of the parade.

We are at the very beginning of the parade route, usually the 10th unit to start. The parade starts promptly at 7:00 p.m., so we encourage families to be there no lated than 6:45. We are right next to the Seafair Princesses, the Chinese Girls Drill Team, the 100 Foot Chinese Dragon, the Lion Dancers and the motorcycle police. it is a great opportunity for our kids to be part of their ethnic heritage.

Kids wear an ethnic outfit. We pull a wagon decorated with a dragon and pass out fortune cookies and wave to the crowds. The parade route is mostly down hill and easy to walk. We finish at about 7:30 p.m. in front of Chung Wa building at 7th and Weller. The rest of the parade then comes right in front of us, if you want to stay and watch. The Chinese Girls Drill Team gives us a "kow tow" as we walk by.

It is suggested that the best parking option is to park nearby and walk up to the start at 10th and Jackson. Then it is easy to get back to your car.
